While this might seem like a no brainer, cases and laptops come in completely different sizes. Take a measuring tape and measure the dimensions of your laptop: height, width, and depth. This is especially important if you're buying a laptop sleeve.

Now that you have these measurements handy you can select a laptop case that will fit your computer snug, not loose. The last thing you want is to have your laptop banging around in a large case, or worse yet, not being able to fit it in at all!

3. Choose Your Favorite Material
